Darren Cave & Johan Muller hits plus highlights of first Heineken Cup semi final

Last year Leinster were supposed to stroll through NH too and look how that turned out...

I would be very surprised if this was anything but a very close final...Ulster's defense is immense, as is Leinsters, and the missing guys coming back into the fold for Ulster it will only get better...

On another note, Stephen Ferris is an absolute warrior..The guy has been playing on a banjaxed knee since before the Lions tour basically and he still performs up there with the very best backrows in the world..He is the best defensive backrow in the world imo...

John Afoa suspended for four weeks for dangerous tackle

This is getting beyond a joke at this stage..The tackle was fine, nobody got injured and nobody would be complaining he hadn't of been cited....

I cant remember anybody who has been seriously injured by a one of these so called "spear tackles"...This all comes from what Tana and kevin did to BOD which is not even comparable to any of these tackles since, BOD didn't even have the ball and he was actually driven head first vertically into the ground..

These tackles are where guys might land slightly on their shoulders, and the tackler is getting banned for weeks...The current rules or interpretation of the rules are a joke and are taking a lot away from the game itself, where nearly every hard tackle is being questioned, be it a dump tackle or a so called shoulder hit...

The only tackles I believe that should be getting bans are where a guy is actually driven head first into the ground or is picked up and dropped down head first..All of these tackles, Afoa here,Warbutons agains france and many more, are perfectly fine, there were no serious or long terms injuries and there was no serious intent to maim the player..Of course they want to hurt the player they're tackling, that's a tacklers job remember but none of these guys went out to try and break a guys shoulder or neck etc...

Andy Goode red carded for high hit against former team Leicester Tigers

Was never a red cad imo...That is a yellow card if ever I saw one...Although he still would have gotten the line, in another situation the difference between a red and yellow could be a lot more important..

Calum Clark cited for bending Rob Hawkins' arm backwards

He started off simply trying to get his arm off the ball, but he kept on pulling at it after the whistle had gone and it was done with deliberate intent to cause injury...

Big ban is needed, I reckon 9 months, if not 12....

Also Rugbydump, Dylan hartely has been cited for apparently biting Stephen Ferris last week..Would like to see if you could get footage of that up if possible..

France vs Ireland ends in disappointing stalemate in Paris

I believe Bowe got MOTH...IMO Ferris, kearney or Sexton would have been more worthy of it on the day..For the French, Hari or Dusotoir maybe...

Ireland have only themselves to blame for not putting this match away with all the pressure they had early in the second half...Very poor line out play cost them dearly numerous times and towards the end idiotic play on the sideline gave the French posession whereas if the Irish runners had have turned infield we woulda have kept the ball and been on the front foot..

France kept the ball extremely well and really should have gotten the drop goal from the two chances they were given...Superb Irish defence was made seem all that better because of those two poor attempts...

A look at the first ever White Card in Super Rugby

Seems to me they implemented this to make it seem that they're actually trying to fix the mess which referreing tackling in Union has become, without actually doing anything..This white card is BS..Anything of note will be noted by the citing commissioner during the game while he is watching it live and seeing replays..Anything which may go unnoticed by both TV officials and the citing officer can be reported by the individual teams and the citing officer can then have a closer look at the incident...

This white card is going to have no effect on the game what so ever from what I can tell..They'd be better off just making the law perfectly clear regarding the BS tackles which are getting called up for penalties rather than wasting time with this sham...
