Biarritz beat Connacht in drenched conditions at the Parc des Sports Aguilera

I love the follow-up kick at 1:46, the player kicks it while running at full speed, and the ball goes forward .... 2 meters, slows down in all the water, stops.

Boris Johnson's amusing RWC 2015 draw speech

This was my first Boris Johnson speech ever, and I must say I'm quite delighted.
Sounds a bit like Douglas Adams.

England upset the All Blacks with famous win at Twickenham

Looks like the two best teams in the NH beat the two best teams in the SH this year (Eng-Nz, Fra-Aus). But I've got to say that perhaps the Blacks were still a bit sick from their gastroenteritis (at least now we know how to beat them: lamb curry on the house for everyone!). Nah, just teasing, England backs were very good today, and their forwards were all fired-up: a great combination.

Midweek Madness - How to get the opposition prop sent off

Nice to see a bit of the late 19th century fisticuffs.
Take this jab to the face, old chap, I'll say.

France vs Argentina Highlights - November 2012

Nyanga's try did come out of nowhere. He picks up the ball, alone, at the back of a ruck (he's fully stopped when he picks the ball up). He flattens two dudes defending the ruck zone (bumps into them and sits them on their arse), and then starts sprinting like a back, mesmerizing every other defender (backs mainly) who can't catch up with him. Super solo effort, well-deserved.

Samoa stun Wales with impressive win at the Millennium Stadium

Looked like a very intense match.
Nice effort to stay on the field by Pisi (for his try)!
The clearout on Dan Biggar seemed somewhat illegal, but I can't be sure.

Rob Simmons escapes on-field punshment for dangerous tackle on Yannick Nyanga

I watched it again for your benefit, he rolls back on his stomach probably hoping to get up, and at this time his eyes seem closed right when you suspect him of glancing at the referee.
Sometimes when you can hit on the field, you first think you can get up -- but you can't, and then you stay down and twitch a bit. Happens to me at least once in a while.
So either Nyanga's an imbecile (because who would need to keep rolling around on the floor when the referee has already blown his whistle and 80,000 people are already booing?), or I'm right.
Knowing Nyanga's character, what you're suggesting is simply impossible in my book. If you had said that about Vincent Clerc I would already be buying you beer :)
But then again, I can't really be sure. Given that he was taken off 2mn later, I suspect him of actually aching.

Rob Simmons escapes on-field punshment for dangerous tackle on Yannick Nyanga

Nyanga is no playacter, it kind of hurts to be spear-tackled by a 2nd rower while your feet are off the ground.
In fact Nyanga was subbed 2mn after that hit because he was in pain.
You're out of your league in this particular case.

But you're right about playacting in the Top14, it's rampant, and it's a growing problem (foreigners in the Top14 are increasingly doing it too).

All Black Adam Thomson's boot on Alasdair Strokosch's head

I agree with both of @browner's comments.
I agree that Thomson got a fair punishment already, and I agree that old school rugby doesn't always mean "better rugby". Last Friday I played against an "old timer" team (all my opponents were aged 40+, and had a good 20 years of amateur rugby in them), and at some point I screamed at one of their flankers, in front of the public: "DON'T *%$ PUNCH PEOPLE IN THE FACE IN RUCKS!". He looked at me with a bland expression (looking fully guilty, which he was) and that was the end of it.
Let's keep it fair.
