Wales achieve biggest ever win over 14-man Scotland in Cardiff

A ban may be excessive, but I can't see how it could have been anything but red. It was late, high, off the ball and a shoulder charge. In my the only other tackle offence he could have committed was a spear, so it had to be red.

Leigh Halfpenny injured making brave try-saving tackle on Luther Burrell

Being a scrum half would though, they don't know anything about tackling

I'm fully behind promoting good form. But one of the commentators in the 1/2p tackle said that if you get your head in front (i.e. wrong) it shunts them and jars there progress, if you get your head behind, they lose their legs, but continue to fall. And in 1/2p's situation, he couldn't allow Burrell to fall and reach, he had to try and shunt him off the pitch

England avenge Cardiff loss with convincing victory over Wales at Twickenham

I think he's an improvement on Ashton, Goode or Brown on the wing. So he may not be the best in the world, but he's a step (get it) in the right direction.

I agree, he would certainly benefit from developing an all round game, but would anyone say that at the moment if he played for a different country, you'd be happy to see him rock up at 60 minutes?

Fair enough, even if it was a slip, he doesn't try to cushion his fall, just reaches out for anything to help

That is probably my favourite piece of defence ever (second place goes to JOC in RWC 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJqc8JGwWXY)
But, I don't think it compares to what Halfpenny had to do here. For a start Lewsey is considerably larger, and a hell of a lot more physical. He also had a lot more space in which to finish the tackle, granted the touchline was further away as well. And he was approaching from a much narrower angle than Halfpenny, meaning getting himself in front of De Villiers wasn't an option.

I think you've covered that pretty well

If I were picking the team I'd have Tuilagi on the bench. Tell Burrell to run his lungs out for the first 60, make the oppo 13 delirious with hard knocks and exhaustion until he sees a 17st replacement running towards him for the last 20. Then he'll do the logical thing and just give up
