England stay on track for Grand Slam with win over France

L'Equipe is famous for understanding absolutely nothing to rugby. If you're French, you should know it.
And yes, i'm french myself.

England stay on track for Grand Slam with win over France

Why nobody here seems not to believe that MAYBE Joubert was actually not hearing the touchline ref ? Although, he should have come to him or let him come to him ?
ALso, Lancaster said during the week he will target the last 20 min of the game with his bench, as he does know that French players are not in match-fitness as much as English or Irish players. So the ongoing issue we have in France between the french board and the domestic championship is not an excuse.
And it looks that Trinh Duc was replaced because of a knock on his head. Some says Parra was replaced because he was exhausted, but i didn't see him exhausted...
The French starting XV was far better and should be kept for the rest of the 6Nations, hopefully.
And about Farrell, he got head to head with Huget (French 15) during the whole match.

Sergio Parisse red carded and banned for insulting referee

lol ! Well spot, Freddie ! (except that's 30 days).
IMHO, Parisse didn't insult the referee, and spoke no way in english, so the referee was wrong in the first place.
I'm quite disgusted for him (i'm not italian).

Wales win in Paris as France lose for second time in succession

I was freezing ion the stadium and we ended up bitterly disappointed. First time since 1982 that France have lost their first 2 matches of the Tournament.

Both teams were scared to death to lose the match.

The main issues for the French team are the players fitness, like every year, it's a kind of lottery, the level of fitness the players will have reached at the start of the Tournament, players not being given enough time to train together and gel. And this year players not playing at their positions. Most of the fans are furious against the coach for that one.

And it's now obvious the coaches were not able to motivate them enough for the match.

The only positive thing is they won't have anymore pressure for the next matches because they cannot win the Tournament anymore.

Italy stun France with another Six Nations upset win in Rome

Another French here.
First thing i want to say is the Azzuris were brilliant and deserved so much to win.
I agree with Colombes about the lack of fitness and preparation due to the french domestic championship calendar/number of matches.
Anyway, the players and coaches stated thed efeat is their own fault, because of a disastrous last half-hour. At 52 min, French were ahead until Castrogiovanni scored his magnificent try.
Happy for the tournament which is more and more interesting.

Sam Tuitupou's massive crash tackle on Gareth Maule

I think the referee said "offside" for the players coming in from the side of the ruck.
