Leinster hold out against Clermont to reach another Heineken Cup final

They were booing a number of times when the referee quite clearly made the correct decision and sometimes just if they didn't like something that happened, even if it was legal. I'm pretty sure they were booing, etc. every time Sexton kicked, just once or twice they were particularly loud.

It did happen a lot though, no denying it.

They got hit hard, and got hurt. Don't blame that on the Top14 schedule. Clermont have a big squad and have been splashing money around recently. The schedule is not an excuse.

Shaun Treeby scores for the Highlanders from Mike Delaney class

It looks fairly flat to me. Sexton's may have been the slightest bit more backwards, but a legal pass is a legal pass. Both look fine to me.

Anyway, it's still a very impressive piece of play from both hemispheres. Great pre-planned move.

John Afoa suspended for four weeks for dangerous tackle

Reaching a certain age without a card / ban is having a clean record... same thing.

Prop Dean Greyling's great dummy and try against the Crusaders

Not to be picky, but shouldn't that be a penalty from the restart? I know it would be a harsh penalty, but a tackle off the ball is still a tackle off the ball, accidental or not and it would be deserving of the props skill and his the opposition got to make a pretty decent hit on his teammate from behind and quite high up (not a particularly pleasant way to be tackled).

@flanker2712

I was wondering the same thing. I can understand how age is a factor if you are around 20 and how experience might be a factor e.g. if this was his first season. Loads of NZ caps, over a century in Super Rugby and 10+ for Ulster? And 28 years old? That makes no sense.

I really like Ulster and Afoa is one of my favourite props. Those factors make no sense and it looks completely intentional to me. He even takes his own legs off the ground. You only do that at the end of the movement of a genuine dump tackle (completely different body positions for both players. Afoa's tackle was nothing like that...

I just don't get the citings these days. This still isn't as bad as the citing of England internationals though... Those are pathetic.

Jonny Sexton's great pass sets up Brian O'Driscoll try vs Cardiff Blues

So you're actually just talking about England?

Anyway, this isn't the smartest debate I've gotten involved in. Better to drop out I think.

@Buzz

It's out and out insecurity. The SH are better, in both the athletic and skill department.

It's pretty to tell you're English. Or you're pretending to be English. You being out of place in most games wouldn't be typical of northern hemisphere rugby. As far as I know, it's even typical in a lot of England these days.

I'm not an English fan... I'm not even originally from the NH. The SH don't have freak athletes. They have been developed differently and play the game differently.

I'm not sure if you're just confused or using genetics as an excuse for inferiority? Can't really understand why you'd argue either…

I assumed he was just trolling... Probably one of those from the southern hemisphere with a grudge. Idiotic statement.
