Quade Cooper wins first professional fight with first round knockout

because as you pretty much said its not as easy as just asking for a fight with those boys. they only fight a handful of times a year, why waste an outing on the likes of rank amateurs....even amateurs can get lucky and then youve wasted however many years of your own training!

agree with the earlier comment as well....if they went up against anyone halfway decent with guards like that it would get very ugly, very quickly.

England power past Scotland to retain Calcutta Cup at Twickenham

Haha yeah my bad thats an in joke that I typed out of habit. Owing to the fact that my mate once whilst trying to explain the 36 reference got the maths wrong, it kind of stuck round our has now come round to bite me in the ass!

England power past Scotland to retain Calcutta Cup at Twickenham

All the pundits seemed to have missed something obvious here, all the talk of 33 playing fantastic in his debut, and I happen to agree, coupled with the desire everyone has to see Manu back in an England shirt as soon as possible, creating a selection dilemma......

......barrit swapped to 13 to accommodate billy and replace Manu, so if you want both of them, drop barrit who while I quite like in his solidity and defensive prowess is not the attacking threat of the other two.

Chris Ashton scores sneaky try from pinpoint Owen Farrell cross kick

Hooker Dylan Hartley cited for striking Ulster's Rory Best

You buddy are a prat, first of all you've listed hazell as a up and coming, hes probably in his last season. secondly before his recent citing, where he was a clear victim of 60 minutes of cheap shots hed never recieved a red or citing in his career.

your reference to armitage i have no complaints, kids a prat. hartley clearly hot headed also. calum clark should be banned for life, largely as it was shown that was not hot headed it was just deliberate thuggery.

sweeping generalisations mate. you want to look at people bringing the game into disrepute your a few years too late.....bakkies for instance hartley and armitage may be pushing themselves into that category the rest not.

hazell has been an exemplary rugby player over a great career - he was systematically targeted in that game, and i dont feel he warrants being anywhere near your comment.

Hooker Dylan Hartley cited for striking Ulster's Rory Best

Scumbag, past offences sure gouging and biting indefensible, but thats pretty harsh here?

hardly think best is innocent just ends up losing the scuffle, hes on top of hartley off the ball at the start.

He'll get cited for a stupid record but as stroudos says below thats not really how any form of justice system should work.

Chris Hala'ufia suspended for five weeks after straight red card

its dangerous because of the mismatch, i dont think it compares to warburton's and certainly not davies disgusting tackle.

Warburton lost control of his man, (not in my opinion deliberately) but thats what makes it so dangerous. Hala'ufia seems a touch hard done to here.

Id also like to say how commendable his lack of protest was and his attempt to find jewell and shake his hand. Makes a big difference from the thug that hit morgan.

the five weeks is all on his history, shame this has made any future decisions even easier for the ref, hes a marked lad now

Michael Lynagh and HSBC Ambassador Jason Robinson react to England's loss

Took two tackles and still got the ball away to manu for the try on saturday, if roberts/nonu/sbw etc did that it wouldnt have gone as unoticed.

A non expansive, solid 12 is how england have played for a long time. If fans dont like that complain at the system not the player who is obviously doing everything asked of him - otherwise he'd have already been dropped.

also if you want to play a smaller play maker in that position dont complain when he gets smashed and disappears from the england set up, for reference - allen and tait etc

Not making any rash accusations, but I would like to know how many people calling for burns to play, ESPECIALLY at 12 have watched him play this season as opposed to just seen his stats.

He is undoubtedly a incredible talent hopefully at the start of a long and successful rise - you cannot however just pick a 10 at 12 and claim the extra play making outweighs everything else you change.

Freddie is a 10 - to suggest he should play at 12 against SA on his debut test to me suggests that none of us have learnt from past mistakes. Centres is a highly magnified position - its hard enough to debut there especially when its not your position, barely even mentioning the strength SA have in strike runners in that position.

There is also an abundant lack of understanding as to barrits position in this team. Please dont miss quote me or misunderstand my comments here, Im not for a moment saying we should play this way but the set up lancaster seems to playing around Manu's game requires a centre like Barrit. Manu's tackling prowess is well documented, his all round defence however needs a lot of work. He is still looking for the big smash and regularly shafting the winger with overlaps happened at least twice again at the weekend. Barrit at least adds security in this position and appears to do better than others have at keeping manu in the line as he should.
