He had transgressed repeatedly throughout the game and well earned Barnes attention. The yellow card was a much for repeated offences as it was for the no hope lunge for the ball in the air. Toulon were indeed very lucky not to have had him sin binned much earlier in the game for some very scenical play.
As an Irishman the result could not have been better and under Schmitt there is alway a plan to get the result. I have to say though, right from the olf against the Baa Baa's the Aussies have played the most entertaining brand of Rugby in these Autumn Internationals. Two unbelievable tries (even if one wasn't, it deserved to be). I will be following Ireland in the RWC, but should they exit, we'll I might turn Yellow.
Close game. Might have been different without the sloppy intercept try. Wales have the talent, speed, bulk, with the exception of a decent 10 and tactics (Gatland). If the latter two were sorted prior to WC, I think they could be contender.
