At first I thought he had an emotional outburst during the game. But his comments afterwards, although they might be a bit out of context, are just ridicilous. Being called a wanker by 30.000 fans on the losing side says noting about the ref's performance but everything about the crowd. Using that to cover up your own limited knowledge of the laws and the game, is just plain dumb.
That's why I started to live by my own (interpretation of the) laws. For example: it's ok to dive over a ruck on top of someone half your size but twice your speed and agility (for which I received an official warning after just half a minute last saturday...)
Meh...I think in 30 years time the Muricans will have their own brand of 'rugby', with different rules, lots of time outs to facilitate advertising and it will only be played in the States so they will be world champions. »
