Ireland start campaign with comfortable win over Scotland

it was clearly backwards out of the hands, what's suspect about it? A forward pass for forward momentum is no longer given, if it's backwards out of the hands the pass is good.

Ireland start campaign with comfortable win over Scotland

I agree that highlights of place kicks are a waste of time, sick of looking at them to be honest.
Not so sure if the try was avoided by great cover tackling so much as Heaslips refusal to off load on his inside where he had 3 green shirts roaring at him to pass!

Ireland Wolfhounds hang on in face of late England Saxons chances

you'd wonder at our (Irish) defence on that side though! Aside from kicking the ball away when you should be holding on to it to see out the win, how could they think it was ok to not leave even 1 guy on cover on the closed side??? Thank god the ball slipped but that makes it more bad luck to the English than well done to us!
Would take an ugly win over a loss in the 6ns though! ;)

New Ireland prop Rodney Ah You smashes lock Alistair Hargreaves

Juan, Esteban Lozada was born in Belgium, Rolando Martin was born in the USA, 90% of Argentinian internationals benefit from European club rugby formation.
Get off the high horse!

New Ireland prop Rodney Ah You smashes lock Alistair Hargreaves

The Mighty All Blacks were founded by Scots Irish and Englishmen, they probably have the highest number of foreign born representatives of any top tier rugby team if you look back through their history.
Try a little humility there since you're not actually doing the hitting yourself!

But they've also gained from the leinster acadamy with players such as Fionn Carr and the likes

Sebastien Chabal knocks out Marc Giraud with big right hook

getting a box in the jaw for holding used to be a part of the game for the longest time also...the game is evolving and so the rules need to too. You can't meat out your own justice, fair enough, just like rolling on the wrong side and killing the ball persistently(this used to be dealt with by whoever had their studs in position over the culprits back) leads to a yellow then so should holding.

Kieran Read named IRB Player of the Year 2013 as All Blacks get hat-trick

Well it depends on whether or not you only consider International rugby. Parisse has been solid for Stade Francais and is crucial for the Italians. They may not have had a great year, but there are 2 points to keep in mind, 1. It's harder to play well on a team that's playing bad and 2. they did manage to beat both France and Ireland in the 6nations!
What shocks me is that Brian O'Driscoll hasn't picked up the award even once over the past 10years!

Nick 'Honey Badger' Cummins interviews Wallaby players after Wales win

Irish hearts broken by All Blacks' last gasp converted try

Just as a premise, Barbarian games are generally more fun and lighthearted. As the commentator says he was judged to have moved toward the ball...can't say I agree but technically he's referring to the same law.
A draw is as gutting as a loss in my opinion anyway so, who cares?
