Andrew Hore cited for off the ball stiffarm on Bradley Davies

That depends, sometime it means "effective weeks" (e.g. Higginbotham got two effective weeks for his knee on McCaw but was actually banned for four weeks), and sometimes it means weeks (e.g. Etzebeth got two weeks for his headbut on Sharpe but only missed one game)..

I think it lies within the judiciary to determine whether it's effective weeks or just weeks.

Italy vs Australia - Live stream

I'm assuming that they can't stream to countries where it is being broadcasted by someone else (e.g. Fox Sports in Australia).

You can always find illegal live streams online though (although in crappy quality at times)

Michael Lynagh and HSBC Ambassador Jason Robinson react to England's loss

Very enjoyable game to watch I thought (obviously helped that Australia won).

I like that Australia finally put some decent back play together (at least for a while) and that for a large part of the match they seemed comfortable with ball in hand. I was flabbergaster by the scrum improvement. I was expecting the Aussies to be bullied around all day long, yet they somehow managed to drastically improve. Raises the question if France is THAT good, England THAT bad or Australia just improved that much...

I must say though that i was impressed with England's willingness to play the game fast. I always love to see teams having a go, and even if it doesn't work I'd love to see Australia to do it more often. Great to see that one of the tap penalties paid off for England and they got a try out of it. Pity the press has smashed them over their decisions..

Michael Lynagh and HSBC Ambassador Jason Robinson react to England's loss

Isn't the reason Armitage isn't playing that he is playing in France instead of England? I could be wrong here, but I somehow vaguely remember that England was planning or has already introduced a rule that would exclude players to play for England that are playing for a club abroad. I know that both Australia and New Zealand have that rule in place, but I'm not 100% sure about England

End of Year Tours 2012 - Week Two - Highlights wrap

Do you know why it wasn't played at the Aviva Stadium?

Another point he raised was that many of the best Fijian players weren't released for the Autumn Internationals by the French clubs. This is only partly the fault of the IRB, who could've forced the clubs to release them. However, apparently, they're only allowed to do so if the Fiji Rugby Union would've complained to the IRB. However, the Fijians are reluctant to do so because that might jeopardize the Fijian players contracts with the French clubs..
So just generally a huge mess with the Fijians suffering the consequences and the French clubs profiting

George Gregan picks his Wallaby lineup to face the 2013 Lions

Ideal line up:
15: Kurtley Beale
14: Drew Mithell (If he can find his 2010 and early 2011 form, otherwise Shiperly)
13: AAC (simply the best AC Australia has to offer atm
12: O'Connor/Tapuai (drop McCabe. Although he's among the most dedicated Wallabies, he misses the necessary skills
11: Ionae
10: Cooper (a bit like Campese, either great or shit)/ O'Connor
9: Genia
8: Palu
7: Pocock (better 7 than Hooper)
6: Hooper (best forward in 2012, and I think also works as a 6)
5: Horwill
4: Timani or Douglas, depending on Super XV form
3: Dan Palmer
2: Stephen Moore
1: Benn Robinson (best scrumager, otherwise Slipper)

Harris nowhere near starting XV. Only thing he's good at is kicking.

Rob Simmons escapes on-field punshment for dangerous tackle on Yannick Nyanga

Hmm not sure about how ppl down south view him.. I don't think he's really on the radar. If he keeps playing like that I'm sure he'll make it back though ;)
He was palying in South Africa (for the Sharks I think) for a while.. Not sure how well he did there, though I think he was alright.
