Second Rower Sam Whitelock scores unbelievable solo try vs the Reds

No on all accounts. It was just the camera angles.

Throwback Thursday - Dave Hodges HUGE hit against Japan in 2003

Konia doesn't seem particularly bothered by the tackle, just annoyed at losing the ball

Get Excited For The Rugby World Cup, Less Than Six Months To Go

There was some IRB RWC ad last year that excluded NZ. It made front page news and we all took it personally. From memory Ashley Johnson was representing SA so now it's your turn to feel shunned.

Get Excited For The Rugby World Cup, Less Than Six Months To Go

Are those actually the lyrics, if I win, lose or draw, it's a victory for all? England getting their excuses in early?

Marcelo Bosch last gasp Quarter Final penalty sinks Racing Metro

If Nigel Owens tells you 30 seconds from time to keep your feet, you had better keep your feet. Every NZer who has watched the last minute of Ireland vs NZ, 2013 twenty times has that voice etched into their memories.

Throwback Thursday - Rupeni Caucaunibuca hat-trick vs the Crusaders in 2004

Is that the same night that Spencer finished the game with an unnecessary length-of-the-field try and a sideline conversion, flipping the bird at the cantab crowd? Oh those were the golden years, or the end of them.

Waratahs lock Dave Dennis makes two brutal hits against the Rebels

I can't quote the law but I remember Dan Carter being carded for the same thing vs the Boks a few years back. If it's in the in goal area, I assume there's a better chance of disrupting a try scoring opportunity illegally, hence the card.

INFOGRAPHIC: Common Rugby Union Injuries

Disturbing to see that more backs were injured in the maul than forwards!

Jamie Heaslip accepts cited Pascal Pape's apology but is out injured

Assuming the translation is correct, this is no apology at all. Either you aimed your knee at someone's back with the intention of harming him (although probably not expecting to break any bones) and apologise for being an evil b*start or you claim it was an accident and that Heaslip was an unlucky bystander. Clearly it was the former as you would only fly into contact knee first if you were trying to injure yourself or someone else.

I hope he is banned for at least as long as Heaslip is out injured. Not that I have a lot of sympathy for Heaslip considering he is prone to knee people in sensitive places when he deems them to be offside.
