Ireland start campaign with comfortable win over Scotland

Not a very good game, but the referee is partly responsible.
Where Nigel Owens, who officiated France England, always left the advantage and always favored the attacking team by asking the defenders to leave the rucks quickly, Craig Joubert has instead left many liberties to the defense. He allowed the defenders to challenge the rucks for a long time while ignoring the fact that they often went by the side of the ruck.
And with all these slow balls, combined with the sterility of both teams, this game was certainly the worst of this weekend.

Yet both teams had come with the intention to play, as it has been seen for the first 10 minutes, but the referee led the Irish to just defend once they were in front.

France snatch victory from England in Six Nations thriller in Paris

This is so good...

But what a lack of aggressivity by the French in defense, while it was their strength against New Zealand ! Without Dusautoir and Fritz it wasn't the same.
They have to be more careful next week against Italy if they don't want an another surprise, like last year.

No bad sportsmanship, but it's so good to silence the English!

Actually, Picamoles was also replaced by Chouly. But still, I didn't understand Lancaster's substitutions.

The British and Irish Lions win the series 2-1 after third Test rout

I agree, I still think that dropping BOD was a mistake. Roberts played as he always did, not awesome but he scored a nice try. Davies played very decently for what I saw, but BOD could have do more.

Impressive win anyway. I'm a bit disapointed, I was waiting for another thrilling game but the Aussies weren't enough good for this. Too many mistakes.

Brian O'Driscoll dropped for series decider against the Wallabies

I think that to drop out BOD is a mistake, not compared to Jamie Roberts but compared to Jonathan Davies. BOD was more present in defense Davies and he is also better attack. And you deprive yourself of a great captain. Alun Wyn Jones was I believe captain with Wales once, and I think it's not enough for the Lions captaincy.

Gatland wants to play as he did with Wales, which explains the titularization of Phillips, who knows how to run the game in this system, and Roberts who is essential in it. But I think Youngs and Murray are far much better than Phillips, and Tuilagi is much more powerful and decisive than Roberts. For those who don't agree, I refer you to his performance from last November against New Zealand.

If he could he would put the whole Welsh squad. Faletau, Hibbard, Lydiate, Tipuric .... It lacks Cuthbert, fortunately.

Australia is gonna win this Tour, which is good.

Wallabies snatch second Test victory to level the Lions series

I believed that you were Irish because you almost only talked about Irish Players.
My bad for the 2 not straight lineouts, I didn't noticed them.

I think the Lions need new players, they seemed very affected by the defeat. Maybe Faletau, but I don't think so. O'Brien seems more likely. Maybe Murray will start the game, even if Youngs did a pretty decent game. I would also liked to see Richie Gray, even on the bench.

About Tuilagi, I won't give up. He was also injured before the Test against New Zealand in November. And he was incredible, beating them almost all by himself.

Let me guess... Irish ?

Lineouts aren't juste about the hooker. And I didn't remember Craig Joubert calling for a no straight throw (correct me if I'm wrong). Maybe we can also blame the jumpers or the lifters. Or maybe Australia has decrypted Lions lineouts. I didn't pay enough attention during the game.

Tuilagi has played at least against the Rebels, and I think he played also before. He is a linebreaker (which the Lions definitely need) and brings a lot of momentum and he can make the difference on one action, wich Roberts can't (I always thought that he was al little bit overrated). And he is young but not inexperienced at all.
In 21 selections, he scored 10 tries. Roberts scored only 5 in 53 selections. I know that it's not what really matters, but still. Roberts is strong. Tuilagi is huge.

And you are right about O'Brien, he is penalty machine. But the Lions need power in attack. Maybe Croft is a good middle ground.

Wallabies snatch second Test victory to level the Lions series

I wanted Australia to win this one because I want to see a huge final next saturday..The match wasn't very beautiful, with Australia making a lot of mistakes and the Lions not doing anything but kicking up and unders, but god what a drama !

Genia is for sure the best scrumhalf in the world right now, Falau was a real poison. Definitely a bold choice by Horwill at the end, when he chose to take the scrum rather than looking for the 3 points. Just for that moment I'm glad he wasn't suspended.

Gatland really needs to do something. He should have put Tuilagi with O'Driscoll, and O'Brien instead of Lydiate.

Lions make five changes, Wallabies receive fitness boost ahead of 2nd Test

I hope Australia will win this one, I want to see a thrilling third test.

In case of injury, who is going to play second row ? O'Brien ? Croft ?

Wallabies and British & Irish Lions teams named for first Test on Saturday

Gatland made a pretty decent team for this first test. Maitland can play winger or fullback, not Zebo (actually I'm not sure, but I've never seen him on fullback).
Tough decision for flanker replacement, with O'Brien and Faletau. There will be competition for these positions.
