Waisale Serevi magic vs New Zealand - Hong Kong Sevens 2007

Serevi magic vs NZ - Hong Kong Sevens 2007

Waisale Serevi displayed some sublime skill at the recent Hong Kong Sevens tournament. He's been doing it for years, and continues to impress.

With seconds left on the clock, the 38-year-old Serevi shows why he is rated as the best player in Sevens history by running circles around the younger Kiwis. Putting his teammates into gaps, he then receives the ball again and scores the winning try.

Tomasi Cama junior can't take it and dives on him very late. He gets a few pats on the head for his troubles. The funny thing is that his father (Tomasi Cama senior) would have played with Serevi, so there is a bit of history there, as you can tell by the way the Fijians act towards the young star.

Tomasi Cama - just pissed because he's a Fijian who's done a money-runner to NZ only to get dicked on by his countrymen. Definitely a few words in Fijian being exchanged after Serevi scored!!

Without Samoans and Fijians there won't be an All Blacks...just take out all islanders and imagine whats going to happen to all blacks?

after that one-sider from cama, serevi says "vutulaki"... then "caiti tamana".you don't have to know the meaning because we all know its swearing/curses.

This is to all the people that think that The All Blacks steals polynesian players. These players are selected, not forced to play for the All Blacks and its their choice whether they want to play and who they play for. The amount of money paid to players isnt that much compared to other teams in other nations, why dont the polynesian players go play for them? Why would these players play for the All Blacks?? Because of most these players grew up in New Zealand and have made it their home. So shut up about the All Blacks being made of other ethnicities, New Zealand is multicultural and has a diverse society, that is what makes us a great country.

what are you going on about? If the All Blacks were so crap without the islanders why do they always beat them? Of course many islanders live in NZ but they wouldn't be the players they are if it wasn't for the coaches and teams (secondary schools, development teams, etc.) in NZ.

The All Blacks usually only nick players from Tonga & Samoa, but if they did have Fijians in the squad...could anyone beat them?

serevi's magic showed that he is still the best.makes me wonder why he wasn't considered for the 2008 hk sevens.somethin must be wrong with the fiji rugby union.i think they are just jealous of his achievements.

To silence the NZ defenders, the reason NZ always beat the Islanders is because they've selectively handpicked the best of them...Back to commenting on this actual video, Serevi actually got a telling off from the IRB for poor sportsmanship - Serevi used to play with Cama's father - there is obviously history between them, and probably quite a bit of animosity in that Cama made the decision not to follow his fathers footsteps but instead play for the poachers.

nz is great team but n to the guy sayin islander players jus simply make th choice themselves how would yu feel if in yr heart yu wana rep yr homeland but another country is trying to lure you with massive payrates n all th bels n whistles that is offerd to our talentd islander players. Im a proud fijian born n bred but if that happend to me although i'"d most likely go fiji i can say id be temptd to go to th other team.........OH AND SEREVI IS THE ABSOLUTE MASTER N KING OF 7s

I love the fact that he runs in with the biggest smile on his face. Clearly a man who loves his rugby!!! Plus I love the way he drags up Tomasi from the floor and hugs him...that's sportsman ship!

You people are so f*cking ignorent it is amazing...NZ in the All Blacks, out of 1094 All Blacks so far, 30 of them in HISTORY have been born over seas. Out of the people born over seas in the current AB's squad, only two AB's have lived in Pacific countries past the age of 3 years old. Joe Rokocoko moved to NZ at age 7 and played his first Rugby game at any competitive level in NZ. Sivivatu is the only player who moved to NZ in his Teens. In Samoa, over half the players were born in NZ. The reason NZ has so many Pacific Islanders playing rugby is because they are great athletes. I play rugby in NZ and I play mainly against Islanders, who were born in NZ...To say they arn't New Zealanders just shows your ignorence and inabability to lookk past skin colour...and yes, you ignorent idiots just got told.

I meant born in the Pacific Islands not born over seas, I just wanted to clear the up for you, as my arguments actually have facts as apposed to blind accusations.
